For a longtime customer, IFM was tasked with designing two parallel path solutions for wastewater treatment. We designed an extended aeration plant as well as designed and created a budget estimate for a collection system that would convey sewage to the nearest facility.
The aeration plant design was for 30,000 GPD of typical sewage and hydraulically rated and approved for 20,000 GPD. The design also included nitrate recycle and the option for denitrification in an anoxic zone for the first aeration basin.
The second option would require tap fees. Lateral installation and tank installation. As the expiration date approached, IFM was awarded the construction of the project. IFM teamed with Mack Industries to install startup and commence the plant.
