Mr. Horn is the Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for Industrial Fluid Management, Inc. (IFM), a full capacity environmental service company and subsidiary of Poggemeyer Design Group, Inc. With the firm since 1998, Tom has experience designing, operating and maintaining several water and wastewater treatment technologies.
Mr. Horn continues to develop IFM’s design build team and has provided design-build services both industrially and municipally. Drawing from hands on experience of multiple systems, he has put those experiences into design considerations, systems integration / startup and training documentation for multiple industrial and municipal engineers and operators.
Systems designed, operated or maintained under Mr. Horn’s direction include:
- Reverse Osmosis
- Nanofiltration (membrane softening and product recovery)
- Ultrafiltration–Oily wastewater, Membrane Bioreactor
Mr. Horn has implemented IFM’s program for preventive maintenance work orders and service history for clients such as Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), Pilot Travel Centers LLC and numerous other industrial water systems IFM services. He has also been involved in various projects for large firms such as Ford Motor Company, DSM Coating Resins, Campbell Soup Supply, Archer Daniels Midland, and General Motors.
Recent successfull projects include, a new Design Build 0.75 MGD Municipal Membrane Softening Plant that was completed under 12 months from design to startup. Currently, Mr. Horn is actively pursuing multiple water reuse projects deploying various water / wastewater treatment technologies.
